Self Help Groups (SHG) Projects

The Self Help Groups projects have been slow in formation. There has been group tension that needed to be resolved by the group, which has delayed the growth and expansion of Self Help Groups. They did well in selling home-made soap and candy popcorn and lending money that would be to the benefit of the group. Self Help Groups has the potential to become a dynamic part of socio-economic development and growth in the coloured community. The future plan is to start a self help group with our ACE children.
